Proper nounSingular Oceania Plural - Oceania
From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. Oceania (sometimes Oceanica) is a geographical, often geopolitical, region consisting of numerous lands—mostly islands in the Pacific Ocean and vicinity. The term "Oceania" was coined in 1831 by French explorer Dumont d'Urville. The term is used today in many languages to denote a continent comprising Australia and approximate Pacific islands, and is one of eight terrestrial ecozones. The boundaries of Oceania are defined in a number of ways. Most definitions recognize parts of Australasia such as Australia, New Zealand, and New Guinea, and part of Maritime Southeast Asia as being parts of Oceania. Ethnologically, the islands that are included in Oceania are divided into the subregions of Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia. From Wikipedia under the

Why do the people of Oceania submit to the Party's control? Q. If you could tell me how the Party controls and manipulatees the people and why the Party does so? Thanks Excuse me, 1984, sorry. Asked by Rory - Thu Mar 19 19:21:07 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. *1984. I just read that book actually. They control the people through massive brainwashing. The people live under the constant rule of Big Brother. They are stripped of every bit of individuality and freedom they they have nothing to live for. This way the party can control them much easier because they don't have anything to fight for. The party manipulates them so they can control the people. Did you read the book? lol Answered by britzy - Thu Mar 19 19:26:01 2009 Has anyone done a South American cruise via Celebrity or Oceania?
Q. If so, how did you like it, and which cruise line would you recommend out of the two? Or would you prefer a destination (non-cruise) South American vacation? Asked by Last Call - Tue Jun 26 12:13:09 2007 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. I agree with Shelly. I have taken 2 Celebrity cruises and 3 Oceania cruises and can say that Oceania is about 300x better, although Celebrity is still great. I did not take either to South America but would recommend a cruise down there because of all of the different points that you hit. Also keep in mind that Oceania operates smaller ships with minimal entertainment options that a larger cruise line would offer. Whatever your option, you can't go wrong with either. Happy Travels!
