A. I find competition or nutrient/pollution studies are the easiest projects to conduct. They require a lot of work, but the work yields results. Competition: Look at a desired plant, investigate and discover which other plant species is a common weed for this plant. Lay out your project so you have a ratio of plant/weed, let them grow, then measure the heights of both at specific time intervals. Analyze the data and present the results. This works best with annual plants or with the establishment of perennial plants. Nutrients/pollution: Mix know quantities of nutrient/pollutant with soil, plant seeds, water properly, measure germination, and plant height, analyze data, present results. Both methods are pretty much guaranteed to… [cont.]

A. Well, first of try to Google 7th grade projects. Since the heading is under botany some to do would be the effect of bleach on plants, effect of water with different things in it, effect of different fertalizers, how the shape of a leaf can affect a trees growth, effect of parasites/diseases on plants, what happens if you cut off all the leaves of a plant, what happens if you over water a plant, which grow faster (pines(gymnosperms) or broad leaf ones (angiosperms) and why, why species of plants are where they are and not everwhere. Hope this helped.

A. If u are college++ student, u have to know the basic ways. read your profs' articles, finding out what they have done. They would certainly mention about what the future is of their subject. And also u have to know what are the mainstream journals in Physics. Such as Journal of Applied Physics in Blackwell database. The blackwell database will be found in your univ lib website.

A. More details? Is it a science project that require you to ask a question about plants and to answer it by conducting some experiment/observation? Here is one example: Topic: How light can affect certain plant's flowering. Choose a fast growing annual. Let's say sunflower. Plant the seeds so you would have more than ten plants to use at a time. They are so easy. Just follow the instruction on the seed pack. Let's say you have 10 that germinate. After they are big enough (depending on the species), move 5 plants under your desk lamp and let them enjoy the light for one hour at midnight when there should be no strong light if they were growing in a natural environment. Other than this treatment all condition for 10 plants should be exactly… [cont.]

A. Are you talking about the granite radiation investigations? A study of Granite Countertops by National Health and Engineering Inc of USA, undertaken in November, 2008, did not find a single granite that poses any health risk. Quantities of radon and radiation emitted by stones included in the analysis all fell well below average outdoor background levels that are commonly found in the United States. Scientists conducted more than 400 tests of 115 different varieties of granite countertops, including stones cited in media reports as being potentially problematic. The stones tested include types of granite that comprise approximately 80 percent of the annual U.S. market share for granite countertops, based on the most recent market data… [cont.]

A. I just bought my 50'' plasma tv and it gets so hot in the back that i cannot touch it. Plasmas traditionally do get hotter. go to best buy, or anywhere that does a real calibration. (not circuit city all they do is that stupid disc, best buy will go into your settings and adjust the internal settings that you can't do yourself) This will not only increase picture quality, you'll end up using less energy and in turn you will be having a cooler tv. If you're using less energy you're also saving on your electric bill!
