A. What a coincidence - I'm doing a Physics project myself. My partner and I are investigating forces acting on Bicycle. I was unsure of what to do at first, but I found a great site with lots of ideas that helped me quite a bit. Also, if you have the option to go with someone else for your Physics project, do it! It's really good to have someone else's opinion, especially from someone who is genuinely interested in you doing well (because that means they will do well at the same time). Here is the site I searched for ideas when I was still trying to figure out a topic: Hope it works out! Remember, don't stress. Conform

Physics Investigatory Project?
Q. i need an idea for a physics project. something I can build or create maybe? something that can help us or something.. thanks. :]
Asked by student - Sat Feb 21 02:16:04 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. What kind of physics class is this and at what level? If this is high school you could maybe rig a bike up to some belts and have it generate power for a light bulb. This is a fun/interactive problem and there are probably a lot of websites to show you how. For more of an upper level you could try to explain why a magnetic ball (marble) floats down a non-magnetic metal tube (like copper.) I can't tell you why this happens but if you see it it's amazing.

Q. can you give me a example?
Asked by renante rebucas - Sat Jul 4 03:01:13 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Well, it all depends on what question you are trying to answer. If say you were investigating what happens once mass enters the event horizon of a black hole, then a good title would be, "What happens once mass enters the event horizon of a black hole?" Using your question for a title is always the best answer. If you give a little bit more detail, like the question you actually are investigating, i might be able to help you come up with a better title, more original...

Whats a good physics topic for an investigatory project?
Q. For a high school student. :) I really like this topic: Quicker and more convenient ways to purify water. But it seems more on biology and chemisty than on physics. Or is it more on physics? If so, can you please justify? I already wrote my proposal for this topic but im having difficulties in trying to justify that it could be physics. X_x; cause it really doesnt seem like physics to me at all. But if anyone can find a way to make it like physics, please tell me :) Also please state interesting topics. Or situations?

Thermoelectric properties of substances in your case fluids thermoelectric properties include enthalpy of sublimation, enthalpy of fusion, evaporation, boiling point, freezing point, melting point etc you can talk about how water has a lower boiling point than alot of the contaminants and therefore evaporate faster leaving the contaminations behind...
